Rwanda’s Bank of Kigali Engages Investors on Nearly RWF 1 Billion in Outstanding Loans
On 6 November, Bank of Kigali met investors and traders affected by the GOICO Market fire in Musanze to discuss possible support and loan repayment arrangements. The report identified nearly RWF 1 billion in outstanding loans, but no debt acquisition, merger or completed corporate transaction was announced. The situation may create demand for debt restructuring, financial advisory and business recovery services. HPC can connect companies with corporate finance and restructuring specialists.
